Since 1953, the Finley-Elliott's have been reuniting annually to share a meal,throw some  horseshoes, share laughter, stories and song in the Tweed/Cobourg area.  It is my intention to use  the "internet tools" available to make the family history accessible to everyone, so that we can  continue to record our family information.  The "family picnics" have become a tradition, so  please try to join us at the Annual Family Reunions! It's a great place to reminisce and to meet  everyone.  The 50th reunion was held at the Tweed Pavillion in 2003 - I'm noting this so we can  easily keep track of this important date.

The information found in this tree was taken from the booklet:   Finley-Elliott Family History - First Edition 1996 prepared by Vince &  Marjorie Prewer. It is a compilation of records and stories that were gathered from the family in  1995. Dona Knudsen, Vince & Marjorie's daughter, has also transferred the same information to a  CD, which is available by request.

This site is dedicated to Vince and Marjorie Prewer's memory.  A tribute to the wonderful people  they were, and special thanks for their enhusiasm in making the family history available to future  generations.  To the Elliott's, Finley's, Douglas's and Tummon's who continued to make the reunion  a success over the years - thank you for the wonderful memories!
